November gardening tips: design, plan, thank
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme...
November 09, 2009

It's time to stop and think about the last year: satisfying and disappointing plants, mistakes and possible solutions, new plants that we want to try.

Garden designI've already started to plan the garden: my design will change many times until spring, but this is part of the game.
It's also time to thank for all that nature gave us.

Sage and rosemaryThanksgiving is not an italian tradition, but this year I tought that I have so much to thank for, and I will celebrate it.
Sage and rosemary are ready, parsley and thyme are in the garden... I also managed to find some cranberries.

Pumpkin spiced pieI'm already trying some recipes, like this delicious Pumpkin spiced pie.
I'm planning to prepare turkey, new potatoes, string beans casserole, apple pie... am I forgetting something?

I think you need to add homemade cranberry sauce and stuffing to your list of thanksgiving foods to try. My family also makes stuffed mushrooms and breaded and baked artichoke hearts, but I think that is just the Italian in us!

Your garden plan looks so awesome. I wish I had the space to do something extensive like that!

Thank you!
Cranberry sauce is a must, I will try to find pecans, and I have to google about the spiced applesauce recipe!
