Recipe: Jalapenos with spiced sauce

A few days ago I improvised an indian dinner that we really enjoy.
The recipes are all vegetarian and almost Vegan: to veganize this dinner, just use vegan yogurt instead of regular one.
This is the menu:
Jalapenos with Spiced Sauce
Fried plantain with mustard seeds
Coriander chutney
Naan with curry
Toor dal with mint and coriander
Basmati rice with coconut and coriander
Jalapenos with spiced sauce
Ingredients
4 green Jalapenos
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp urid dal
2 tbsp dried coconut, grated
1 tbsp turmeric
1 scallion
70ml yogurth
Directions
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the urid daal, the fenugreek, sesame and cumin seeds. Cook until they start to crackle, then add the coconut and stir for another minute.
Blend the spices with the onion and turmeric, then add yogurt. Put the spicy sauce on a dish.
Cut the Jalapenos in halfs and remove the seeds. Fry them in hot oil on both sides until golden. Place them on the spicy sauce
