Recipe: Burger with Chili Sauce

Chili peppersThis year I'm growing several little hot peppers, mild or sweet like the Redskin, a small crispy bell pepper, or the Chilhuacle Negro, a brown mild chili, very aromatic. I used them both for this chili sauce.

Remove stalks and seeds from 4-5 mild chili peppers and cut into stripes.


Chili SauceSauté in a pan with a little oil for a few minutes, then add a peeled and diced tomato.
Cook for ten minutes over low heat, then blend with a food processor.


Cook the beef burgers. Garnish with smoked scamorza (or other smoked cheese) slices.
Cut the burger buns in half and spread the chili sauce.
Place the burger with cheese on the buns and close it.
