Recipe: Coriander chutney

This spring I finally have enough fresh coriander to use it in recipes like this Indian sauce.

Coriander and balmCoriander may taste too strong, so I add some lemon balm to soften it.

Coriander chutney

Coriander chutney

1 cup fresh coriander
1 cup lemon balm leaves
1 scallion
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
1 piece of ginger
1/2 clove garlic

Blend the onion, cumin seeds, lemon juice, sugar, ginger and garlic with a food processor.
Add coriander and lemon balm and blend until smooth.

Basmati rice with coconut and coriander
