Recipe: Pancetta with chestnut honey

The 20 appetizers lunch
April 15, 2010

This is the only recipe from my 20 appetizers lunch that doesn't use any aromatic herb. I just think that the chestnut honey, with its incredible aroma and its bitter overtones, doesn't need anything else.
Use another strong flavoured honey or maple syrup if you can't find Chestnut Honey.

Peel some almonds, cut into slices and toast them for a couple of minutes.
Arrange the pancetta slices on a serving plate, cover with chestnut honey and toasted almonds.
