April gardening tips: Chives garlic division

Growing aromatic herbs
April 10, 2010

I love Chives Garlic (Nira), but it's really difficult to grow it by seed, so I decided to propagate it by division like I did for the lemon grass.

Chives garlic divisionEvery plant develops a cluster of long bulbs. You should dig deep to remove all roots from the ground.

You can divide the chive garlic at almost any time of the year, but it's better to do it on spring.

I hope that the new plants will be grow soon.
