Annatto, year two

Growing spices

Last autumn my annatto plants lost all their leaves. During winter the tiny naked stems looked really sad, but I keep watering them.

Annatto new leavesNow, new leaves are growing!
Annatto should be bigger than that to produce the nice red seeds, used as a spice. I guess I will wait.
