Harvesting autumn dill

Saving seeds
June 06, 2008

Last september I sowed dill and coriander, I've got fresh leaves all winter, and in spring they're bloomed.

Dill Seeds

Now -late spring- dill seeds are ready to be harvested, and soon the coriander seeds will be too.
They smell wonderful, I'll keep the biggest for next sowing, but others will be some recipe stars!

Hi Seemie
Isn t it a great feeling to have your own seeds for cooking and planting? I had a massive crop of coriander a couple of years ago and saved heaps of seed which I am still using in the kitchen and in the garden, as well as giving away. I will try dill this spring.
love and light
