Winter chili peppers on the catwalk
My 400th post
December 14, 2009
A guest admired my ornamental chilies, telling me that it's interesting to take note of how they look during winter, because the ones with pods and leaves are a spot of colour in a sad garden.
The Carioca is a real Christmas Surprise, full of bright pods, it looks like a mistletoe!
The Fluorescent Pepper, amazing even during winter.
The Black Pearl lost some leaves, but its black and red pods and its black leaves are always beautiful.
I will grow again the Aussie Black too, for its colourful pods and its variegated leaves.
