It's blooming time, and I start to harvest some flowers to dry and store them for winter herbal teas.

Flowers TeaThese are clover flowers, roses and bitter orange flowers, called 'zagara'.
When they will bloom, I will add also marygold, sorrel, cinnamon basil flowers and flowers from other aromatic herbs.

Now, with the fresh flowers and some other ingredients fresh or dryed, I prepared a delicious and refreshing herbal tea.

Flowers Tea

2 flowers of yellow clover
2 flowers of bitter (or sweet) orange
1 rose
4 leaves of lemon verbena
1 piece of carob
1 piece of orange zest
1 piece of ginger

Put all ingredients in a teapot and pour in the boiling water.
Cover and steep until the flavour is... perfect!
