Aji Blanco Cristal is a Baccatum chili pepper, with nearly white pods, red when ripe.
Aji Blanco Cristal jam
Ingredients
40g Aji Blanco Cristal chili peppers
1 apple
20g sugar
Directions
Remove the stem and seeds from the chilies. Peel and core the apple.
Put the chilies and the sliced apple in a pot, and cook low heat for 40 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
Put in the pot, add the sugar and cook 10 minutes.
Serve with any hard cheese of your choice.
